Ticket Sales and Services: Ticket Sales
Position Summary: 
The Membership Sales Executive position is a full-time benefited sales position with a primary focus of selling Full and Partial Season Memberships, Premium Seating and Group Outings. The Marlins are seeking highly motivated, coachable, competitive and professional individuals for this position who have a passion for sales and developing long-term business partnerships. The Marlins support career growth through investing in continued education, training, mentorship and hands on experience.
Essential Functions:
  • Sell new full season memberships, partial season memberships, group outings and luxury suites 
  • Meet or exceed annual sales goals
  • Make a minimum of 75 outbound contacts per day 
  • Set a minimum of 10 face to face appointments per week
  • Proactively seek new leads through referrals, networking and prospecting businesses 
  • Invite and host qualified prospects to prescheduled sales events and Marlins games 
  • Attend networking events in the community to generate new business prospects 
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all current clients and prospects within our CRM system
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospects and current clients at all times 
  • Active involvement in the community to continually build your sales funnel 

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Strong organizational, time-management, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines 
  • Coachable and possess a positive attitude
  • Comfortable making cold calls on the phone to both businesses and consumers 
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule (holidays, weekends, evenings)
  • Comfortable making face-to -face sales presentations
  • Highly self-motivated and have a desire to excel in sales 
  • Deliver exemplary customer service both in-game and over the phones
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
  • A minimum of (2) two years of successful sales and service experience in related field
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Experience with ProVenue (ticketing system) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
