Position Summary:  
The Manager of Business Development will be responsible for managing, training, motivating and coaching the Business Development Account Executives. This position will develop and execute a yearly ticket sales campaign intended to meet or exceed the annual season ticket sales goal. 
Essential Functions:
  • Oversee all sales efforts for the overall season ticket sales strategy.
  • Execute and oversee effective sales calls and presentations promoting the purchase of the season ticket products in order to meet established sales goals and objectives.
  • Recruit, hire, train and supervise the Account Executive team.
  • Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods, as well as follow up on all leads.
  • Monitor the Account Executives activities and track their progression towards sales goals.
  • Track and report daily, weekly, monthly and annual revenue numbers and campaign recaps.
  • Prepare and manage an annual sales business plan and budget.
 Qualifications & Requirements:    
  • Proven ability to set and meet aggressive sales goals.
  • Ability and willingness to work long hours.
  • Polished presentation and sales skills.
  • Proven track record of success as a highly accomplished sales manager.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics. 
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas. 
  • Proficient computer skills required (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook); background is a plus.
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales primarily in professional sports or major events.  
  • At least 2 years of management experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
