Internship: Internship
Position Summary: 
Intern, Group Sales & Service is a seasonal position with a focus on project and event coordination in support of Group Sales & Service leadership as well as Group Sales & Service team members.


 Essential Functions:
  • Assist coordination of Marlins community ticket programs and relations with community ticket partners
  • Assist execution of Fan Experiences on game days for members and group leaders
  • Assist Group Sales coordinators with creating internal homestand notes, which include event logistics and game day logs for staffing events
  • Coordinate with other internal departments related to planning and execution of special events, theme days, group hospitality events and other group ticket initiatives.
  • Work directly with group leaders and clients to plan and execute events in Marlins Park hospitality areas
  • Assist with tracking inventory of Marlins game fan experiences
  • Assist with coordination of online requests for in-game group messages
  • Assist with tracking the Marlins fundraising platform for all fundraising groups
  • Produce ticketing links and digital flyers upon inbound requests from Sales & Service team members

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Strong organizational, time-management, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines
  • Available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Coachable and possesses a positive attitude
  • Delivers exemplary customer service
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to commit to the entire duration of the internship, from the mutually agreed upon start date to the end of December 2020
 
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Service, Communications or related field – Completed or In-Progress
  • Experience with Tickets.com ProVenue (ticketing system) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
