Internship: Internship
Position Summary: 
The Broadcasting Intern will assist the Broadcasting Department in day-to-day administrative duties in addition to creating original content along the Marlins Radio Network and Marlins.com.  
 
Essential Functions:
  • Writing and creating broadcast content for the Marlins Radio Network in addition to Marlins.com.
  • Scheduling and creating a calendar of events for future content including podcasts on Marlins.com.
  • Conducting interviews and obtaining audio from Marlins players and coaches for use pre-game, in-game and post-game in addition to Marlins.com.
  • Assisting Marlins radio and television broadcasters with requests during the regular season (includes batting practice passes and booth visits). 
  • Assist in managing live read inventory. Preparing Marlins radio broadcasters for home and away series. 
  • Proactively suggest and create broadcast content for digital and on-air in-game use.  
 
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills in English. 
  • Proficient computer skills are required.
  • Audio editing background is required. 
  • Ability to work during games, weekends, and occasional holidays.            
 
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
  • Experience in a television, radio or sports organization is preferred.
