Ticket Sales and Services: Ticket Sales Management
Position Summary:  
The Director, Membership Sales primarily focuses of managing a team of senior-level membership sales executives and maintaining a focus on revenue generation through the sale of season ticket memberships, group tickets and premium seating. This position will receive supervision from the VP, Ticket Sales & Services with the expectation to exceed annual revenue targets for new season ticket memberships.
 
Essential Functions:
  • Exceed annual revenue goals
  • Supervise Membership Sales Executives
  • Work closely with Marketing and Business Analytics Teams to develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns to increase new season ticket memberships
  • Create prospective season ticket member events at loanDepot park and at offsite locations
  • Conduct face to face appointments with prospective ticket buyers
  • Lead regular training sessions for entire Ticket Sales & Service Department as well as Membership Sales Executives
  • Identify new technology vendors to improve overall sales efficiency
  • Work scheduled shifts during Marlins home games and other loanDepot park scheduled events
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales campaigns 
  • Proven track record of developing high-performing sales professionals
  • Strong organizational, time-management, excellent oral and written communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Individuals must be comfortable making face to face sales presentations
  • Ability to relate to different personalities and motivate each sales executive
  • Career driven individual with a strong desire to learn and grow as a leader
  • Proficient computer skills required (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Strong customer services skills required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus



Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
  • College Degree – Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales primarily sports
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales management primarily in sports
