Position Summary:  
The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating in the development of strategic digital marketing plans, programs, and events with a focus on transactional marketing and increasing revenue. In addition to regular office hours, this position also requires occasional evening and weekend hours as needed during game day and/or marketing events.




The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong research and analytical skills, creativity, and have excellent attention to detail. This role collaborates closely with other departments as well as external agencies and other vendors on the execution of transactional marketing’s various strategies and initiatives.
 
Essential Functions:
  • Support annual planning for digital marketing strategy, including use of in-venue, rights holder, email, web, search, display and social channels
  • Assist in the development of weekly marketing plans across paid, rights holder and institutional assets 
  • Schedules and traffics assets and reads to ensure timely advertising rotation (digital, rights holder, in-venue, etc.)
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate digital marketing support requests for upcoming promotions and initiatives
  • Produce internal reporting and recap materials to document campaign performance and key takeaways 
  • Manage creative requests for campaigns, including production of well-defined creative briefs to guide creative team development of transactional marketing assets 
  • Coordinate event presentation and game day asset deliverables to be activated in support of transactional marketing campaigns and initiatives during Marlins home games 
  • Assist with organizing weekly rotation of dot com and app assets to align with current transactional marketing campaigns and initiatives as well as recurring maintenance of digital properties
  • Organize reoccurring meeting agendas by aligning with internal departments on updates, priority initiatives and action items
  • Provide in-person support for marketing promotions and initiatives during Marlins home games and other events as needed 

Qualifications & Requirements:             
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and adhere to deadlines
  • Familiarity with media trafficking preferred 
  • Experience with digital advertising is a plus 
  • Strong organizational, time-management, verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
  • Coachable and possesses a positive attitude
  • Collaborative team player able to work with a variety of departments and different personalities
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule (holidays, weekends, evenings)

Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; degree focus in marketing or advertising preferred
  • A minimum of two (2) years professional work experience in marketing, advertising and/or project management
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
