Communications/Community Relations: Writer/Editorial
Position Summary:  
The copywriter will execute against strategies using his or her exceptional talents to connect our brand/products with fans.
 
Essential Functions: 
  • Create thoughtful, personalized, and brand-relevant copy and content.
  • Write strong, motivating content, including social media, brochures, TV, radio, print, e-mails, blogs, newsletters, and other content, within the brand’s style and tone. 
  • Work collaboratively in a multi-functional team to concept and implement compelling brand stories.
  • Clearly and confidently present work to internal teams and clients. 
  • Work with project manager(s) to determine client needs.
  • Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed.
  • Respond to feedback in a timely manner. 
  • Cast actors for TV and radio work, including voiceovers. 
  • Check copy for spelling and grammar errors. 
  • Work with media planners/buyers and the production department to fully develop the campaigns. 
  • Explore different ideas and concepts for both visual and verbal elements in tandem with the creative team. 
  • Work with designers, illustrators, printers, photographers and production team to complete campaigns.
 
Qualifications & Requirements:             
  • Extensive English language skills.

 Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience at a creative or media agency, or in-house, as a copy or content writer.
  • A bachelor’s in journalism, communications, marketing or a related field.
  • Portfolio of strong, professional writing for both long and short form content. 
  • Passion for both high-level strategy and hands-on writing.
