Position Summary: 
The Coordinator of Engineering is responsible for assisting the Director & Sr. Manager of Event Presentation in all aspects of Ballpark broadcast engineering and audio-visual technical services. This position installs, maintains, diagnoses, repairs and operates a wide variety of digital and analog broadcast equipment.  

Essential Functions:
  • Assist with all aspects of the Ballpark broadcast and audio-visual systems. 
  • Assist with all technical aspects of all Ballpark broadcast and audio visual equipment inventory 
  • Assists with technical aspects of all Ballpark digital signage (concession menus, ticket windows, concourse TVs, column boards, Video Boards, LEDs, etc.) 
  • Assist with all technical aspects of Ballpark House Sound Systems 
  • Oversee all technical aspects of Ballpark Broadband and Digital distribution (IPTV, Ballpark cabling, junction boxes and TV Truck I/O) 
  • Assist Sr. Manager with all technical aspects of Ballpark Broadcast Center (Video Control Room and production room) 
  • Assist with overseeing Ballpark Special Effects and Lighting System 
  • Help with the planning , development, writing and implementation of operational procedures for the Video Control Room 
  • Serve as primary point-person and contact for technical services involving all event presentation audio-visual and Ballpark broadcast requirements 
  • Assist Sr. Manager in developing and maintaining department budget/capital expenditures 
  • Assist Sr. Manager with all events involving the department and supervises events as assigned 
  • Assists Sr. Manager on future facility upgrades and installations 
  • Technical Liaison for all Ballpark broadcast services to any outside vendor or subcontractor 
  • Availability to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed 
  • Other Duties as assigned by Sr. Manager  

Qualifications and Requirements: 
  • Experience in Sports Television, Ballpark, Stadium or Arena preferred 
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal skills 
  • Strong work ethic 
  • Proactive Problem Solver
