The Box Office Representative will assist in the management of all ticketing operations including daily operations of the Box Office and any ticketing outlets. Responsibilities include building and maintaining events, supervising part time staff members and interns, assisting box office personnel in daily tasks, and providing customer service to fans. The Box Office Representative will also be responsible for selling and renewing a book of business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all our fans
- Process financial reconciliations such as daily reports, event statements and monthly reports
- Assist in the development of an effective and efficient box office staff by providing appropriate supervision and enforcing operational policies and procedures
- Assist with input, coordination and fulfilment of group sales contracts
- Responsible for occasional testing of new software and routine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Oversee the maintenance and reporting of ticket scanners
- Responsible for cash handling and box office controls
- Perform ticket selling functions as needed
- Assist with reporting needs, processing, etc. and ensure the proper use of the ticketing system
- Troubleshoot and resolve ticketing issues promptly and professionally during events
- Track and manage daily, weekly, monthly sales reports
- Utilize sales techniques to renew, sell & upsell a full menu of inventory including but not limited to season tickets, group tickets and premium event spaces.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service environment preferred
- Prior experience with a ticketing system preferred
