The Director, Global Partnership Services, is a motivated, dedicated professional in the sports, entertainment, or advertising industry. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain long-term relationships with global partner clients and is responsible for the fulfillment and execution of all contractual client deliverables. Must collaborate efficiently with internal departments and organizations.

Job Functions:

  • Lead in the fulfillment of partners’ contractual obligations; traditional media, digital and social media, event/promotions, hospitality, experiential, signage, and intellectual property rights each season
  • Coordinate internally with various departments to communicate partner obligations and fulfillment strategies. Represent sponsorship as cross-functional team lead with Legal Department
  • Ability to fulfill game day activation duties, such as serving as department representative for on-site activations, meet and greets, first pitches, tours, pre-game presentations and more
  • Identify additional opportunities for current partners throughout the season that can generate incremental revenue to the organization. Initiate and maintain regular contact with client and/or client’s agency to develop strong professional relationships. With the support of SVP, orchestrate renewal discussions with partners
  • Supervise corporate partner activity and updates thru CRM system and develop mid-year and end of year recap presentations. Anticipate the needs of partners and communicate accordingly
  • Ensure that SVP Global Partnerships is kept abreast of all activities relating to corporate clients through established reporting procedures.
  • Other tasks, projects and responsibilities as assigned

 Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of eight to ten years’ work experience in Sports Partnerships, Client Services, Partner Activation, Media Agency or Business Development
  • Ability to lead, handle and develop team in atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities and deadline pressures.
  • Experience with sponsorship activation including leading, renewing, and up-selling major corporate accounts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle broad portfolio of projects, in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Outgoing, friendly, creative and enthusiastic!
