Facility Operations/Event Staff: Maintenance
Assistant-Ballpark Operations  
(Part time/Seasonal)  
Job Summary:
Position is responsible for providing support to the Ballpark Operations Department at the Kansas City Royals performing a full range of administrative and clerical duties in the daily operation of Kauffman Stadium. Position is paid hourly and reports to the Manager of Ballpark Operations.  
  • Work closely with Engineering and Stadium Services Departments   
  • Keep regular track of daily orders, preventative maintenance, and reports   
  • Assist in research projects for various equipment parts and purchases   
  • Conduct walkthrough of entire facility recording & following up on repairs and maintenance items   
  • Administrative and clerical duties in support of Ballpark Operations Department   
  • Organize set-up & tear down of special event requests   
  • Interact with clients, contractors, consultants, and managers   
  • Assist Ballpark Operations Manager   
  • Keeping running inventory of ballpark furniture, stadium seat parts, and other miscellaneous items   
  • Assist mailroom as needed   
  • Other related duties as assigned     
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Sport Administration/Management   
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office   
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and handle multiple projects   
  • Able to work irregular hours including holidays, weekends, evenings, and game events   
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs   
  • Able to stand/walk for extended periods   
  • Strong organizational and time management skills   
  • Possess a professional attitude that is customer service oriented   
  • Attention to detail   
  • Effective written, telephone, and verbal communication skills
