Title:  Group Ticket Sales Executive
Department: Ticket Sales
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Group Sales Manager

The Group Ticket Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business by selling group tickets, season tickets, suite rentals, and event rentals mainly via the phone and email. This position is also responsible for relationship building with current clients, and renewal of existing agreements.
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals
  • Build and foster relationships with past, current, and potential new clients
  • Network and build relationships in Omaha and the surrounding region
  • Research, develop and manage a list of potential new partners 
  • Make sales calls mainly via phone and email to area organizations and follow up as necessary
  • Proactively create opportunities for new business with existing customers
  • Set appointments, show seats, and give ballpark tours with the intent to close business
  • Maintain records of all customers and prospects by utilizing CRM tool
  • Work with the front office team to achieve the objectives of the advertising sales, marketing, tickets and community relations departments
  • Represent the organization at in-house ballpark events and off-site community events promoting ticket sales and the organization
  • Provide excellent customer service and care to all customers and prospects
  • Execute group contracts and deliver tickets to group customers
  • Other duties may be assigned

Game Day Responsibilities:
  •  Assist with client and fan entertainment
  • Assist with promotional execution
  • Assist other departments when necessary
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Prior baseball sales experience preferred 
  • Prior sales and/or event management experience
  • Prior experience with ticket management software preferred
  • Ability to present sales material to potential clients
  • Ability to lead and collaborate in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to solve problems quickly
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and database programs
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for organizational business
  • Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
