Reports to: Ballpark Entertainment Manager

Classification: Part-Time/Non-Exempt (Seasonal)

Summary/Objective:

Manual Scoreboard Operator will be responsible for keeping the Constellation Field manual scoreboard up to date with Space Cowboys games or other game events.

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Setup and breakdown of Scoreboard numbers
  • Communicate with BPE Control Room
  • Perform other related duties assigned

 

Education and/or Experience & Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of the game of baseball
  • Must be organized, flexible and able to work in a live-production and face-paced environment.
  • Professional image & demeanor
  • Ability to work non-standard hours including nights, weekends, holidays and commit to 30 or more events as needed

 

Work Environment

The position will perform work in a stadium, office, and local community environment where noise/crowd levels greatly vary. The position is subject to varying temperatures and weather extremes.

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear. The vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Nature of position requires physical mobility and the ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.

 

Travel

Travel is not expected for this position.
