Department: Baseball Operations


Reports to: Director, Team Operations


Classification: PT/Non-exempt/Seasonal


This position will assist the Director, Team Operations at our Spring Training facility in West Palm Beach, Florida in handing day to day team operations functions during the spring training season.


Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Collect, organize and distribute player and coach ticket requests for all major league camp home and away games.
• Provide tours of facilities for select partners and VIP’s.
• Complete a larger scale project as determined by Director of Team Operations
• Perform basic administrative duties.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.


Education and/or Experience:
• High School diploma or GED and/or equivalent number of years of relevant experience.
• Bilingual English / Spanish preferred 
• 2-3 years of office administrative experience.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and situations.
• Detail oriented.
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude. 
• Ability to handle discreet and confidential information.
• Flexibility to work irregular/extended hours, including nights, weekend and holidays as needed.
• Ability to build effective relationships at all levels of business.
• Experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).


Work Environment
This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment.


Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit for long periods of time; walk for long distance; climb stairs; use hand to handle or feel. Ability to lift up to 10lbs.


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including; extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Travel
Rare travel maybe expected in this role.
