Classification: Independent Contractor (Part-time)

The Independent Contractor positions last from February 20, 2021 until April 1, 2021.


The following contractors are needed:

Public Address Announcer
  • Energetic and excited about bringing the best show to West Palm Beach.
  • Strong vocal talent.
  • Baseball knowledge required.
  • Background working as a PA announcer, in television, in radio, or on stage is preferred but not required.
All Sport Scoreboard Operator
  • Responsible for the operation of All Sport scoreboard machine for the duration of the game.
  • Responsible for setting up and breaking down the All Sport scoreboard machine before and after each game.
  • Knowledge of baseball required.
TriCaster Operator
  • Place player headshots, sponsor graphics, and entertainment videos on the video board.
  • Ensure computer generated graphics are updated.
  • Manage all video and graphic playback, including video features, K Counter, crowd prompts, etc.
  • Knowledge of TriCaster based software and programming is a plus.
Show Control Operator
  • Operate Daktronics Show Control.
  • Update content within Show Control and produce content onto the video scoreboard.
  • Place player headshots, sponsor graphics, and video entertainment on the video board.
  • Knowledge of Daktronics Show Control and understanding of game of baseball is a plus.
Audio Operator
  • Generate all audio played in the ballpark using Click Effects software to keep fans engaged and excited.
  • Have a good sense of current and popular music and know when to play certain songs and chants during the appropriate baseball scenarios.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the game of baseball is required.

Wireless Camera Operator
  • Proficient in the shoulder operation of a professional camera, which requires the ability to frame and steady the camera properly as well as handle the weight of the camera effectively.
  • Manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Responsible for covering all live components of the game day production, including features, highlights, ceremonies, etc.

  • Previous experience in production.
  • While working independently, have ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of the game of baseball is preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
