Led by Chuck Greenberg, one of the sports industry's most well-respected owners and operators, Greenberg Sports Group manages the operations of three highly-successful and award-winning affiliated Minor League Baseball franchises. Those franchises are the Frisco (Tx.) RoughRiders (Double-A/Texas League), Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Pelicans (Advanced-A/Carolina League) and State College (Pa.) Spikes (Short-A/New York-Penn League).

Greenberg is the former Managing Partner & CEO of the Texas Rangers, a role he assumed in 2010 after his group of investors (Rangers Baseball Express, LLC), which included Baseball Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan, acquired the Major League Baseball franchise from Tom Hicks and Hicks Sports Group.

Chuck's prior accomplishments are highlighted by serving as Chairman and Managing Partner of the Double-A Eastern League's Altoona (Pa.) Curve from 2002 to 2008 and representing Mario Lemieux and renowned businessman Ron Burkle in landing ownership of the bankrupt Pittsburgh Penguins in 1999. He again represented the Penguins in 2007 on successful negotiations to build the state-of-the-art Consol Energy Center in downtown Pittsburgh and secure the franchise's future in the city for at least another 30 years.

You'll be training, training and training some more to become the best ticket sales person that you can be. When you're done training, we'll go ahead and keep training to keep you sharp. You'll be coached and trained by leaders in the sports industry, joining a ticket sales process that's been proven to be successful.

What you will be doing:
As a Ticket Sales Coordinator your main responsibility will be selling tickets. That's priority numbers 1, 2 and 3. We’ll pay you to get experience. Then we want to pay you a lot more. If you’re reading this, most likely you’re probably looking to get into the sports industry. You may be looking for an internship to complete college or you may just be trying to break in with your first job. We'll pay you to get that experience, then promote you and more. You will be calling on potential season ticket holders, group leaders and individual ticket buyers. You will also be asked to provide excellent customer service. We’ll buy into you, invest our time into your career and put you on a path to success.

Duties:
Responsible for 100+ cold calls per day
Utilize cold calling, LinkedIn and emails to connect with prospects and clients
Generate new and return business from clients and prospects
Completing weekly and monthly sale reports
Renew, expand and service accounts
Model and reinforce the RoughRiders "expectations" of positivity, work ethic, professionalism, respect and being the best you can be
Visit clients and prospects on game nights, working a minimum of fifty five game nights

Qualifications:
College degree preferred
Internship or 1 year of sales experience (ticket sales preferred)
Strong communication and listening skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Willingness to learn
Available to work games, nights and weekends as assigned
