Led by Chuck Greenberg, one of the sports industry's most well-respected owners and operators, Greenberg Sports Group manages the operations of three highly-successful and award-winning affiliated Minor League Baseball franchises. Those franchises are the Frisco (Tx.) RoughRiders (Double-A/Texas League), Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Pelicans (Advanced-A/Carolina League) and State College (Pa.) Spikes (Short-A/New York-Penn League).

Greenberg is the former Managing Partner & CEO of the Texas Rangers, a role he assumed in 2010 after his group of investors (Rangers Baseball Express, LLC), which included Baseball Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan, acquired the Major League Baseball franchise from Tom Hicks and Hicks Sports Group.

Chuck's prior accomplishments are highlighted by serving as Chairman and Managing Partner of the Double-A Eastern League's Altoona (Pa.) Curve from 2002 to 2008 and representing Mario Lemieux and renowned businessman Ron Burkle in landing ownership of the bankrupt Pittsburgh Penguins in 1999. He again represented the Penguins in 2007 on successful negotiations to build the state-of-the-art Consol Energy Center in downtown Pittsburgh and secure the franchise's future in the city for at least another 30 years.

The Frisco RoughRiders are searching for strong performers to fulfill the part-time roles of the Riders’ CREW for the 2020 Season (April – September).  Various availability during the day, evening and weekend hours is necessary.
Position Overview: 
The Riders’ Crew is a co-ed interactive group that represents the Frisco RoughRiders, Double-A Affiliate for the Texas Rangers, at all home games and events throughout the community including charity and promotional events. Riders CREW members are responsible for facilitating in-game promotions, choosing contestants, pumping up the crowd, assisting the mascot and having high-energy every game. The ultimate goal of this position is to create an enthusiastic, energetic, and positive game environment to gain fan interaction by keeping with optimum MiLB standards.
  • Greet fans as they enter the ballpark and hand out game programs and promotional items.  
  • Ensure all contests and props are ready for in-game promotions prior to the promotion.
  • Activate all promotions that are held during pregame, in-game and postgame.
  • Work in Kids Zone to provide additional support for activities 
  • Provide an exciting and fun atmosphere for fans of all ages.
  • Act as an entertainment support system to encourage fan engagement and build the RoughRiders brand.  
  • Interact and communicate with fans and staff in a positive and professional manner.
  • Choose contestants for in game promotions.
  • Dance/Perform on the field and dugouts
  • Assist hosts and mascots
  • Responsible for leading chants and rallies
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • General knowledge of RoughRiders Baseball.
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from Dr Pepper Ballpark.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm for the RoughRiders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Needs a hands-on, positive energy, great sense of humor and outgoing attitude.
  • Enjoys interaction with fans of all ages, must be at ease in front of a crowd.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
  • Must be able to take direction well, follow instructions and make decisions on the spot.
  • Must collaborate well in a team environment.
  • Live entertainment background a plus (cheer, dance, theater, etc...)
