Led by Chuck Greenberg, one of the sports industry's most well-respected owners and operators, Greenberg Sports Group manages the operations of three highly-successful and award-winning affiliated Minor League Baseball franchises. Those franchises are the Frisco (Tx.) RoughRiders (Double-A/Texas League), Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Pelicans (Advanced-A/Carolina League) and State College (Pa.) Spikes (Short-A/New York-Penn League).

Greenberg is the former Managing Partner & CEO of the Texas Rangers, a role he assumed in 2010 after his group of investors (Rangers Baseball Express, LLC), which included Baseball Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan, acquired the Major League Baseball franchise from Tom Hicks and Hicks Sports Group.

Chuck's prior accomplishments are highlighted by serving as Chairman and Managing Partner of the Double-A Eastern League's Altoona (Pa.) Curve from 2002 to 2008 and representing Mario Lemieux and renowned businessman Ron Burkle in landing ownership of the bankrupt Pittsburgh Penguins in 1999. He again represented the Penguins in 2007 on successful negotiations to build the state-of-the-art Consol Energy Center in downtown Pittsburgh and secure the franchise's future in the city for at least another 30 years.

Frisco is one of the fastest growing cities in America and one of the top markets in the USA.  The RoughRiders have led Double-A in attendance for the past 14 years and play at the beautiful Dr Pepper Ballpark.

You'll be training, training and training some more to become the best ticket sales person that you can be. When you're done training, we'll go ahead and keep training to keep you sharp. You'll be coached and trained by leaders in the sports industry, joining a ticket sales process that's been proven to be successful.

What you will be doing:  As a Corporate Sales Executive your main responsibility will be selling tickets. That's priority numbers 1, 2 and 3. You'll do this by meeting with high level executives, networking, cold calling and building a referral base to drive revenue. You'll also be responsible for servicing clients and helping to hit team goals.

Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):  
  • Responsible for, but not limited to, renewal and new season ticket sales, individual and packaged suites/hospitality, and group events to both corporations and the general public with an emphasis on maximizing revenue

  • Meet and exceed established weekly, monthly and annual sales goals

  • Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and service best practices, prospecting, networking, lead generation, referral gathering, data capture and personal database management

  • Generate a pre-determined minimum number of weekly out of office as well as in ballpark “face-to-face” meetings to create new business opportunities

  • Provide a superior level of customer service to all suite clients, season ticket holders, plan holders, single game buyers, new business prospects and fans alike

  • Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities

  • Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all team members

  • Participate and contribute to daily or weekly sales team meetings and training sessions

  • Model and reinforce the RoughRiders "expectations" of positivity, work ethic, professionalism, respect and being the best you can be
 Competencies: 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication, customer service and problem solving skills

  • Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and adhere to deadlines

  • Ability to navigate the stadium in order to visit clients during home games and escort potential customers on seat tours, showing various seating options and facilities on both gamedays and non-gamedays

  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
 Qualifications:
  • College degree

  • 2-3 years of sales experience (ticket sales preferred)

  • Established network preferred

  • 5-10 references available upon request
