Ticket Operations: Box Office Management
Box Office Manager: This position is full-time, but we are open to part-time.

The Joliet Slammers are looking for an organized and customer service minded individual to join the ticket sales department as the Box Office Manager. The Box Office Manager will handle all ticket operations in the box office as well as work with all individual season ticket, package ticket holders and groups. The individual will work to renew existing customers, bring in new customers and provide extraordinary customer service. This person will be responsible for and manage the ticket database system and keep records current and accurate. 
  • Reconcile and maintain all financial reports (daily, monthly, etc...) with the ticket office
  • Hire, train, and schedule box office interns
  • Meet or exceed sales goal by selling season tickets, group tickets, and suites to customers via outbound phone calls, face-to-face appointments, game day marketing, off-site networking events, and incoming inquiries
  • Ensure repeat business by providing superior customer service to clients
  • Manage the box office on game day
  • Manage the cash control and box office reconciliation
  • Manage customer database and develop strategies to collect additional information
  • Responsible for the fulfillment of season, group, and individual ticket requests
  • Support sales team with reports and database maintenance
  • Keep detailed attendance records
  • Research issues concerning customer accounts, ticket printing, internet and online purchases
  • Coordinate season ticket and individual ticket stock ordering and printing
  • Provide customer service on ticketing questions from individual, season, group and corporate customers
  • Utilize Ticket Return ticketing system  
  • Possess a team oriented attitude, relationship building and professional demeanor 
  • Provide unsurpassed external and internal customer service year round
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, extensive customer service skills

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Proficient in using Ticket Return, Google Sheets, and Google Docs
  • One year experience in Ticket Return ticketing system
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, energetic and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and departments within the organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional image and demeanor
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays during the season
