The Community Sales Executive is a key component to bridging our community relations and ticket operations. The Community Sales Executive is responsible for developing and engaging relationships within the community, using the role to expand brand awareness and the organization's outreach. On the sales aspect, the position requires assessing client needs and selling the appropriate ticket packages based on their assessments on a year-round basis. Ticket sales include season tickets, group tickets, suites, picnic packages, mini-season ticket packages, fundraisers, individual games and the development of other ticket sales programs. The Community Sales Executive will report to the Director of Ticket Sales.

-Engaging community events and functions to build relationships
-Schedule and manage mascot and speaking events to build brand awareness
-Represent the organization in a professional manner
-Assist in social media and press releases
- Sales to individuals and businesses of season tickets and groups, including renewals as assigned by the Director of Ticket Sales
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of all team ticket sales efforts including planning and marketing in order to reach team goals
- Execution of ticket packages including contracts, invoices, ticket production and distribution of tickets
- Identifying, investigating, and executing strategic partnerships in the area of ticketing
Required Experience:
-The Executive should have previous ticketing experience in an established or start-up sports entity with a community-based theme. Other experience requirements include:
- Ability to build relationships with vendors, advertisers and customers
- A track record with non-traditional advertising and "guerrilla" marketing activity
- Cold-calling and telephone sales techniques
