The Evansville Otters have full-time paid internships available for the 2017 season. The internship positions are summer positions that start the first of May and run through the conclusion of the season (end of August or early September).
The Evansville Otters play in the 12-team independent Frontier League as our league’s senior member. Playing at Historic Bosse Field, interns have a chance to operate in one of America’s last remaining true baseball cathedrals.
Built in 1915, Bosse Field has been home to many teams and has seen 99 Hall of Famers take the field. Bosse Field is one of three stadiums to be used in the filming “A League of Their Own”. If you are looking to get that foot in the door of sports, there is no better place to start than with the Evansville Otters!
Responsibilities:
  • Report directly to the Director of Stadium Operations
  • Manage gameday staff in assigned areas
  • Assist in inventory controls and purchasing
  • Assist in stocking points of sale for all games and events
  • Oversee the day to day setup of the stadium for all games and events
  • Responsible for set up of Kids Zone
  • Assist with the management of stadium cleaning services
  • Represent the organization at community events
  • Work all Otters home games and stadium events
  • Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
  • Must have ability to think on one’s feet as well as work with a wide variety of personalities.
  • Must have ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Internship runs from May – September.
  • Must provide own housing and must be available for entire duration of 2017 season.
