POSITION OVERVIEW:
Working approximately 40 hours/week, the Contract Recruiter will provide full-life cycle recruiting for seasonal and part-time positions as well as certain assigned full-time positions.  This role will also provide support in hiring Boston Red Sox event staff.  The expectation that the incumbent will generate diverse pipelines of talent for all assigned jobs.  There is potential to extend contract through Q1 2022 based on recruitment needs.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plan and execute interview process, including candidate screening (calls and video interview via HireVue), pre-hire assessments, and coordinating/scheduling interviews
  • Track candidate details and progress in Boston Red Sox applicant tracking system (Lever)
  • Plan and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Make hiring recommendations to HR team and hiring managers
  • For  many full-time positions may only screen resumes, screen candidate video interviews and provide recommendations to Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist
  • Coordinate with HR team to initiate background check process for new hires
  • Provide weekly summary on job status and candidate activity
  • Stay current on federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Attend job fairs and other recruitment efforts as needed
 
CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least 3 years proven work experience in full-life cycle recruitment/talent acquisition or similar role
  • Familiarity In-depth experience with applicant tracking systems  
  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing and generating diverse pipelines of talent 
  • Ability to flex between full-time, part-time and hourly positions at a variety of different levels
  • High volume, hourly recruiting experience preferred
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
