The Erie SeaWolves, the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, are looking for two confident, dedicated students who are interested in earning credit hours by completing a seasonal learning opportunity in ticket sales, marketing and customer service.
Associates will be mentored and receive training in a classroom-like setting. Participants will have the opportunity to attend department meetings, communicate with customers, work with a CRM system, and assist with promotions and community outreach. On game days, associates will learn about sales fulfillment, guest service, marketing and ticket operations.
All college majors are welcome to apply. This opportunity will begin on February 1, 2018. Schedule flexibility is available during the spring semester.
Minor League Baseball can be a fun and rewarding career path, but it requires dedication and flexibility as event schedules dictate the team's hours of operation.
February 1-March 31, 2018:
Minimum 20 hours per week (schedule to be determined).
April 1-August 15, 2018:
Game Days: Report time until an hour after the game.
Non-Game Days: 9:00a until 3:00p (Monday-Friday); flexible hours are available.
Some exceptions may apply
$1,000/month stipend (prorated during partial months)
