The Erie SeaWolves are the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.  The team is owned and operated by At Bat Group, LLC.  Over 200 SeaWolves have played Major League Baseball including Justin Verlander, Curtis Granderson, John Lackey, Michael Fulmer, Eugenio Suarez and Andrew Miller.  Erie is located in northwest Pennsylvania, conveniently between Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Buffalo.  The SeaWolves play their home games at UPMC Park, just 10 blocks from the shores of Lake Erie.  Over $12 million in stadium upgrades will be introduced before or during the 2020 season including a new 1,550 sq. ft. team store, a new 230-guest stadium club and renovated suites, restrooms, concessions, and party spaces.

The SeaWolves are looking for a confident, energetic, dedicated, and detail-oriented student who is interested in earning credit hours by completing a seasonal learning experience in game day entertainment, promotions, and community affairs.
The Promotions Associate will be mentored by the Director of Entertainment and gain experience with game day presentation, development of game day promotions, outreach to vendors and prospective promotional partners, assisting with special events, baseball camps and community affairs efforts, and learning through participation in departmental planning meetings.  Based on experience and skill set, the Promotions Intern could assist with content for the team's social media feeds or serve as a game day emcee/host.  The Promotions Intern also may assist with execution of SeaWolves Community Fund initiatives such as settling the nightly 50/50 program, Launch-a-Ball, jersey auctions, donation requests and mascot appearances.
All college majors are welcome to apply. This opportunity will begin on April 1, 2020. Schedule flexibility is available during the final few weeks of the spring semester.

Minor League Baseball can be a fun and rewarding career path, but it requires dedication and flexibility as event schedules dictate the team's hours of operation.

April 1-August 31, 2020:
Game Days: Report time until one hour after the game.
Non-Game Days: 9:00a until 3:00p (Monday-Friday); flexible hours are available.
*Some exceptions may apply; schedule subject to change
