The Hub City Spartanburgers, the High-A Affiliate of the Texas Rangers, are currently looking for eager, hard-working individuals to join the team for the 2026 season!

Our goal is to provide real, hands-on experience that can be used to land leading roles within the highly competitive professional sports industry. The Promotions Intern will have a direct hand in planning and executing theme nights, creating and executing on-field promotions, and providing unforgettable experiences for Spartanburgers fans on game days. This position will require attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure smooth operations with many moving parts. This paid position begins in spring 2026 and will conclude at the end of the 2026 season.

Responsibilities:
• Be a flexible team player ready to wear many different hats
• Be available as a mascot handler for community events
• Assist in scheduling and preparing pre and post-game promotions
• Assist in scheduling pre-game music performances
• Creation of new and entertaining content for on-field promotions
• Assist in planning and executing theme nights as well as participating in theme nights as needed (costumes, décor, giveaways, etc.)
• Interacting with fans and finding contestants for on-field promotions
• Assisting in the preparation and execution of games to be performed in between innings
• Other duties as assigned

Experience/Qualifications:
• Ability to work flexible and demanding hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and ability to take initiative with projects and events
• Have exceptional customer service and be a committed team player
• Willingness to wear a mascot costume if necessary
