The Hub City Spartanburgers, the High-A Affiliates of the Texas Rangers, are currently looking for eager, hard-working individuals to join the team for the 2026 season! Our goal is to provide real hands-on experience that can be used to land leading roles within the highly competitive professional sports industry. This paid position begins in spring 2026 and will conclude at the end of the 2026 season. 

Job Summary
We are looking for a Merchandise Intern who is passionate about sports merchandise and retail operations. It is not necessary to have previous retail experience but we will be looking for someone who is open to learn and motivated to drive success within our team stores.

Requirements:
Positive Attitude & Open To Learn
Ability to work both individually and in teams (both will occur)
Good Organizational Skills
Good Time Management Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Ability to lift 40lbs

Responsibilities Include:
Assist with the oversight of all store and online merchandise sales
Operate registers and service customers
Fulfill online orders (packaging/shipping)
Manage gameday and part-time staff

Assist with the ordering of merchandise
Create attractive displays inside the store and adjust store layout
Design new merchandise items and/or advise on vendor created items
Maintain an organized and clean shop and storage room
Perform inventory counts and monitor inventory levels
A preferred candidate will be able to lift 50 pounds
Other duties as assigned
