Ticket Sales and Services: Premium/Suite Sales
The Wilmington Blue Rocks are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as Director of Premium Hospitality. This individual will possess a strong understanding of professional sports hospitality, a proven track record in client relationship development, and will be responsible for generating revenue from suite rentals, premium picnic experiences and other hospitality opportunities.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Generate revenue by successfully prospecting, pitching, and closing premium hospitality deals

  • Sell a full menu of premium hospitality opportunities, including luxury suites (annual and game day), Diamond Club events, Premium Picnic Experiences, and other premium seating offerings

  • Prospect potential new clients via phone, email, internet, social media, self-prospecting, and provided lead lists

  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage team to ensure clients receive superior service and complete fulfillment of every contract detail

  • Consistently and effectively manage a robust sales pipeline while providing updates and forecasts to senior leadership

  • Utilizes CRM system to manage accounts, pipelines, sales processes, and activity

  • Create, update and effectively communicate all catering and special needs to appropriate parties in advance

Requirements:
  • Minimum of five plus (5+) years in sales experience; prior experience selling in sports & entertainment is strongly preferred

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  •  Exceptional organization and management skills

  • Must be able to work collaboratively across all departments and possess an optimistic team-first mentality

  • Due to the nature of this role, the candidate must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends, holidays, and Blue Rocks game days

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with ability to consistently travel to offsite client meetings
