The Salem Red Sox are the Single A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox and a subsidiary of Fenway Sports Management. They are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and passionate self-starting individual to join our highly successful ticket sales team in Southwest Virginia’s beautiful Blue Ridge. After setting a record breaking ticket revenue season in 2022, the Salem Red Sox are seeking a motivated candidate, eager to keep the growth and success of the ticket sales team moving forward. 
The ideal candidate will be incredibly organized and communicative, and have experience selling ticket packages and building relationships with fans. The primary responsibility of this position will be season ticket retention, servicing over 200 accounts with the goal of renewing a high percentage of accounts each year. This position will be responsible for selling all ticketing inventory including  season tickets, premium ticket products, groups, hospitality and mini-plans packages. 
In addition to a fixed base salary, the Ticket Sales Account Executive will earn commission for both new and renewed accounts, for season tickets, premium ticket products and group tickets. 

Hiring Manager: Blair Hoke

  • Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field
  • 1+ years' experience in sales and/or customer service with proven ability to meet sales goals preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and inter-personal skills
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
  • Passion for the product and competitive attitude
  • Ability to be coachable with a desire to learn and excel
  • Experience with and SCORE (CRM) a plus
 Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Assist in leading ticket sales team to its overall goal and establish and maintain all ticket sales processes and strategies 
  • Service over 200 season ticket accounts, renew at high rate to be determined by AGM/Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service
  • Minimum number of outbound calls per week as determined, varying throughout the year
  • Build strong relationships with clients and provide outstanding customer service to all fans
  • Be adaptable, innovative, and opportunistic with the goal of generating revenue for the Salem Red Sox in a number of ways
  • Represent the organization at in-house ballpark events and off-site community events 
  • Other duties as assigned 

  • Bi-Monthly Salary + Commission
