Currently, 7th Inning Stretch owns and operates the Stockton Ports, Single-A Affiliate of the Oakland A’s, in the California League, the Delmarva Shorebirds, Single-A Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles in the South Atlantic League and the Everett AquaSox, Single-A Short Season Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners in the Northwest League. The Stockton Ports play at Banner Island Ballpark, a recently constructed downtown venue that has been praised for being one of the most cutting-edge ballparks in the country. 7th Inning stretch prides itself on building a stronger community, furthering the careers of its employees and creating a superior product both on and off the field. 
Position Summary
If you are a professional and sefl-motivated individual seeking the first step in your sports career or are looking to gain valuable sales experience and are seeking a tremendous career opportunity, the Stockton Ports have an open door. The Inside Sales Representative position focuses on selling season tickets, partial season ticket-plans, and various group packages for the Stockton Ports. In addition, this entry-level position concentrates on training, sales skills and developing experience in the sports and entertainment industry. Throughout the program you will be responsible for an individual quota, as top performers will be considered for future positions within the organization. The position is seasonal, starting March 19th, 2018 and pays an hourly wage plus commissions.
  Position Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
  • Generate revenue selling ticket packages for the Stockton Ports
  • Meeting or exceeding weekly and seasonal sales goals 
  • Call past customers to generate sales
  • Cold-call new sales leads to generate sales
  • Conduct appointments with prospective clients
  • Maintain detailed records of clients and prospects 
  • Provides phone support and follow-up of ticket sales marketing campaigns
  • Staffs sales tables at various games and events
  • Other duties as assigned
