Facility Operations/Event Staff: Maintenance
The Tampa Bay Rays are seeking an experienced craftsperson that is well rounded in several areas of trade including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, painting and general repairs.   

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of maintenance related work.
  • Identify and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks).
  • Repair and/or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets/fixtures, etc.
  • Perform painting projects (handrails, walkways, walls) as needed.
  • Knowledge of paint, materials and proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to repair/replace bolts in stadium seats, doors and hinges. 
  • Construct and frame-out small projects (walls, partitions).
 
Skills
  • Ability to operate plumbing tools, carpentry saws and equipment/machinery.
  • Ability to anticipate and troubleshoot problems with effective solutions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Friendly demeanor with a focus on patience.
  • Physical ability and strength required to work in tight/awkward spaces.
  • Standard of excellence as it relates to work output, with a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
  • Must be prepared to work flexible hours/weekends/overtime/holidays as needed.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge and use aerial lifts preferred.
