JOB OVERVIEW:

We are hiring a salesperson to join our growing baseball sales team. This individual will be selling to professional baseball players and managing a team of remote Brand Ambassadors to help facilitate the ambassadors’ sales efforts. As we are growing quickly, the role has significant opportunity beyond sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales

● Present, promote, and sell the Pando pooling model to professional baseball players

● Educate players, agents, and financial advisors to the benefits

● Study customer needs to tailor pitch and pool composition

● Reach sales quotas on schedule

● “Go the extra mile”

Management

● Manage a team of 10 remote Brand Ambassadors and aid them in selling to professional baseball players

● Collaborate with, train, educate, and motivate remote ambassadors

Lead generation

● Build and maintain a healthy player pipeline

● Establish, develop, and cultivate a deep network within baseball

● Help with marketing to attract channel partners

● Qualify inbound leads and identify prospects -- cold calling comfort is essential

Team player

● Coordinate sales efforts across departments and cooperate with other sales associates

● Wear many hats, with lots of room for growth and ways to add value

EXPERIENCE:

● 1-2 years’ experience in baseball (e.g., baseball operations, scouting, analytics), sales, and/or agent industry

● Sports fans & those with baseball networks are a plus

● BS/BA degree or equivalent

SKILLS:

● Superior communication and negotiation skills

● Time management and organizational skills

● Ability to create and deliver tailored presentations
