Guest Services Coordinator

Description:
The Oakland Athletics are currently seeking a full-time Guest Services Coordinator. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager, Guest Services. The Guest Services Coordinator is responsible for managing the ballpark’s guest services locations, serving as the primary contact for customer inquiries/feedback and assisting with all game day staffing and operational needs. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Guest Services Representatives and Stomping Ground Play Area Attendants
  • Oversee guest services call center and ballpark’s services locations
  • Monitor and respond to guest services emails
  • Monitor and respond to guest services phone calls
  • Respond, resolve and track customer feedback, inquiries and complaints
  • Schedule unique experiences and accommodations (ex. A’s Team escorts/tours/seat visits, etc.)
  • Follow up on all game day fan injuries and incidents
  • Maintain inventory of service recovery items 
  • Supervise lost and found program
  • Produce collateral including daily game notes, staff newsletter and handbooks
  • Assist with game day staff recruitment, onboarding, training and deployment
  • Administer staff incentive program 
  • Serve as game day Event Representative
  • Perform duties assigned to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for ballpark guests
  • Have full knowledge of the Oakland Athletics’ ticket and stadium policies
  • Have full knowledge of the RingCentral Coliseum operations 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • BA or BS college degree preferred 
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service abilities and problem-solving skills 
  • Detail oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to lift objects up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
