Department: Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum 
Job Title: Membership Ambassador 
Reports To: Membership Manager 
FLSA: Hourly, non-exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with recruitment for and maintenance of the Museum’s membership program
    • This includes knowledge and experience in reading and working with Excel reports and analyzing data.
  • Assist with membership order fulfillment and membership renewals 
  • Assist in researching, creating, and implementing new marketing campaigns to grow the Museum’s membership base 
  • Assist with development and planning of events for Reds Hall of Fame Chapters 
  • Help write and edit Hall of Fame newsletter
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the membership database and archives 
  • Assist with telephone and email inquiries regarding Hall of Fame memberships 
  • Assist in day-to-day office tasks, such as responding to requests, writing reports, maintaining inventories, and assisting group tours 
  • Assist with game-day activities, including compiling and distributing member gifts, working membership areas inside the ballpark, and other game-day activities as assigned  

  • Prior work experience in at least one business setting and/or one sports setting
  • Must have computer skills and knowledge of working with computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Publishers
  • Must have experience in working with data from excel reports.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable communicating with all levels of staff within organization 
  • Must have ability to complete a variety of tasks and projects in a timely and well-organized manner 
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work with the Organizational Core Values of Collaboration, Adaptability, and Accountability
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are preferred)
  • Knowledge of museum database software would be helpful but is not required
Schedule/Work Environment:
  • Must have a flexible schedule and a willingness to commit 29 hours per week
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment; however, under special circumstances, employee may have “game-day” responsibilities where the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.  There may also be evening and weekend events
  • Hours will include nights, weekends and holidays

  • Compensation for this position is $10.00 per hour. The position includes work in sports marketing, box office and ticketing, customer service, events, membership data and more
