Ticket Sales and Services: Client Relations/Customer Service
General Role Description:  Direct the execution of hospitality contracts for York Revolution Professional Baseball (Revolution). The Hospitality Services Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all elements of each hospitality contract are executed, including but not limited to the following: ticket order processing, menu selection, food service times, parking pass distribution, and will call preparation. The Hospitality Services Coordinator will also act as a bridge between the Sales Department and non-sales departments, primarily the Marketing and Ticketing Departments, in order to execute and fulfill theme and group event plans. The ultimate goal of the Hospitality Services Coordinator is to remove the responsibility of contract execution from Sales Executives and to ensure that contractual obligations are met. This position is required to maintain detailed sales plans for upcoming events and pair suggestions and ideas with goals for the sales staff members that are obtainable and help the organization reach bottom line budgets. The Hospitality Services Coordinator will be expected to sell small scale hospitality events and will be given a sales goal.
Key Role Accountabilities:
  • Execute hospitality contractual elements at PeoplesBank Park, including but not limited to: coordinating theme and event sales plans, execution of those sales plans, and additional duties as assigned by the Director of Group & Hospitality Sales. 
  • Collaborate with Sales Department, Marketing Department, Ticketing Department and Operations to ensure complete execution for Revolution hospitality clients and work directly with sales associates on relationship building.
  • Regularly attend hospitality meetings with sales associates to create a relationship with hospitality clients.
  • Prospect for upcoming events that may increase ticket sales for theme and special event nights.
  • Coordinate appearances for sales associates; ie. Little League Opening Days
  • Perform as a liaison between the customer and sales associates as needed when questions need a prompt response.
  • Create and document a customer surveys throughout the season and update sales team at weekly sales meeting with new information.
  • Handle, distribute, and document all sales leads and track the status of those leads.
  • Keep an up-to-date inventory of available hospitality, prepare a report on available inventory at weekly sales meetings and create ways to limit wasted inventory by producing inventive ideas.
  • Work under the supervision of the Director of Group & Hospitality Sales to execute contractual elements.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing and future Revolution clients by initiating and maintaining frequent communication.
  • Manage contractual paperwork for the Revolution.  Ensure that appropriate departments receive copies and instructions on execution, including Sales, Finance, Ticketing, Marketing and Operations.
  • Co-Manage the Revolution sales interns with support from the Director of Group & Hospitality Sales to help the organization reach group sales budget.
  • Work directly with the Client Services Coordinator to plan and organize other events such as the golf tournament or Hot Stove luncheon on an as-needed basis.
  • Meet regularly with the Director of Ticketing to ensure all hospitality menus and additional elements are relayed promptly to concessions.
  • Sell small scale group and company outings with a focus on churches, schools, and similar organizations as described by the Director of Sales.

  • Minimum Role Requirements
  • College degree and experience in the sports or entertainment industry. 
  • Working Conditions
  • A minimum 40 hour week and 8 hour Monday-Friday work schedule is required of all full time employees during the off-season.  This schedule will include some weekend hours for special events as determined by the V.P. of Business Development and the Director of Group & Hospitality Sales.
  • Off-season and non-game day hours are 8:30AM to 5PM Mon-Friday and miscellaneous event hours.  Game day hours may vary.
  • Work hours during the baseball season will exceed 60 hours per week and 12+ hours per day on game days including evenings, weekends and holidays.  The baseball season work schedule may also include 7 or more consecutive work days.
  • Physical Demands will require the employee to stand, walk, sit, use hands, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities of the job include close vision, distance and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is normally exposed to normal indoor air-conditioned temperatures as well as exposure to the sun.  The noise level in the work environment is usually low where hearing protection is not necessary based on OSHA requirements.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
