The Long Island Ducks are accepting applications for the position of Ballpark Operations/Maintenance Intern for the 2018 season. This is an excellent opportunity for a college grad who wants to get into the sports industry. The Ducks are looking for an aggressive personality to handle multiple responsibilities. Your main responsibilities will include maintenance and upkeep of ballpark for each event, event traffic flow management, general office work, and much more. Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills are required. We are looking for a 'work-a-holic' who isn't afraid to work long hours and get their hands dirty. Maintenance/Janitorial experience is a big plus.
This internship could start as early as February and run through the entire season (early October). All applicants must already be college graduates and willing/able to commit 100% to this position. Include detailed cover letter with application. You must already be a college graduate (not a student graduating in May).
This is an unpaid internship. However, a monthly stipend of $800 is provided to assist with any out-of-pocket costs (commuting, etc) associated with the internship.
