The HIGH POINT ROCKERS are a member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB), a Partner League of Major League Baseball.  The ALPB and the Rockers are committed to providing family-friendly, affordable entertainment while showcasing top-caliber talent both on and off the field.
The Rockers play at Truist Point, a multi-use stadium opened in 2019.  With an AstroTurf field surface, the ballpark plays host to hundreds of events annually including baseball, soccer, kickball, concerts, trade shows, banquets and more.  The Rockers are a part of the High Point Downtown Stadium Foundation, a registered 501c3 non-profit that operates all activity at the ballpark.
This exciting venture provides a wealth of opportunity for the right individual to begin or continue their career in sports.  If you want to learn how to operate a ballpark and program a variety of events from the ground floor, this is a great starting point.
  • Assist in the preparation of the stadium for each event.
  • Support Facility Operations Manager with all stadium operations.
  • Develop and execute a stadium maintenance plan.
  • Assist with general stadium maintenance.
  • Manage gameday parking.
  • Assist with stadium rentals and all external stadium events.
  • Assist with stadium security during games and external events as well as on a day-to-day basis.
  • Assist with hiring and managing all gameday employees.
  • Serve as event manager for select external stadium events.
  • Represent the Rockers at community events when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a stressful environment.
  • Ability to work on projects without supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Ability to work by oneself.
  • Interest in learning the inner workings of a professional sports organization.
  • Basic knowledge of the game of baseball.
  • Ability to work all home games as well as external events.
  • Ability to work long hours.
  • Valid United States Drivers License.
  • Previous experience in the sports industry a plus.
  • Some level of secondary education recommended.
This position would be paid hourly.  This position would start as soon as possible and run through the end of the Atlantic League season (approximately October 1).  At the conclusions of the term, employee would be evaluated for full time employment should the opportunity be available.
