Job Purpose | Individual will be able to work collaboratively with the production and social media teams to efficiently and effectively produce, edit and serve as the on-air host for the team’s digital and social media channels. This candidate must possess strong creative and communication skills to effectively relate to the adjusting needs of the organization and industry.

Primary (Essential) Duties 
  • Conceive, write, produce, shoot and edit original, short-form content (usually less than 60 seconds) and long-form content on a daily basis for the digital media space, including social media platforms and DBTV Productions
  • Provide an on-camera presence for the D-backs social platforms including live and taped interviews and chats with players and other team personalities
  • Tell creative, fun, compelling visual stories that connect fans to the franchise and engages the team’s fan base through a variety of digital media, including but not limited to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram/IGTV, Snapchat and 
  • Help provide live coverage of team-related events (including games), in addition to hosting stories on the team’s Instagram and Snapchat accounts 
  • Work with the team’s designers to incorporate key graphic elements as needed and assist in the creation of gifs, memes and video infographics for all social platforms Research stories and generate ideas for potential content to share with the team’s fans, including multi-episode properties as well as standalone pieces of content 
  • Manage multiple job requests and changing priorities on tight timelines 
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with the DBTV Productions and Social Media departments to ensure that all content communicates the desired message while functioning successfully with a high volume and variance of projectsTake ownership of the creative process for each project you are assigned, including inter-departmental communication, problem solving and business decision-making
  • Demonstrate and support the service nature of the DBTV Productions department

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities | Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Studio ENG and DSLR camera operation and script/voiceover writing
  • Strong, high-energy on-camera presence with experience hosting and interviewingExcellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong baseball knowledge required with the ability to connect with baseball fans; knowledge of and passion for the D-backs and MLB are preferred
  • Creativity, a sense of humor and strong work ethic are a mustKnowledge of motion design and relevant production software including After Effects and Photoshop
  • Self-motivated with the ability to remain calm and complete tasks under pressure; candidate should take personal responsibility for getting things done in a way that positively and professionally represent the organization, with limited supervision
  • Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of social media, including new trends and emerging platforms
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must maintain positive and professional attitude at all times and be receptive to project changes and feedback
  • Must be able to work independently & collaborate as part of a cross-functional team
  • Must be willing to work long hours and weekends, as this position will attend nearly every home game and will have projects that do not fall during normal business hours
 Experience/Education Requirements | 2+ years of professional experience in the Video Production or Digital/Social field in a sports, entertainment or creative agency environment
  • On-camera hosting and reporting experience (demo reel required)Bilingual (Spanish-speaker) is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Video Production, Multimedia Journalism, Cinematography or a closely related discipline
