Facility Operations/Event Staff: Game Day/Event Staff
WESS is a crowd management / event services organization committed to security and event staff personnel in stadiums, arenas, convention centers and other event locations nationwide. 

We are seeking a committed, driven Area Manager for Florida who will support and drive operational and security excellence in the Company’s core strategies; manage, oversee and coordinate all aspects of stadium operation activities including, but not limited to: administrative and operations planning and execution and client satisfaction. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership of security operations including vulnerability mitigation, incident response, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure all building security systems are operating as necessary during event and non-event periods. Security systems include but are not limited to: cameras and access control; all physical security equipment (magnetometers, hand-wands, bollards, etc.)
  • Maintain a commitment to excellence by providing quality training to educate employees on standard expectations and security standards - specific to each venue/facility
  • Develops and implements operations strategies that improve execution and provide additional value to customers in a cost-effective manner.  
  •  Proactively communicates with and seeks feedback from customers; seeks to continuously improve customer satisfaction. Meets with customers on a regular basis to ensure that we are meeting their needs.
  • Supervises colleagues (Account Managers/Assistant Account Managers, Event Services Coordinators and Game Day Staff) in a manner that maintains morale, skills proficiency and productivity. Recruit and hire team members as necessary.
  • Maintain the proper image and generate positive public relations by resolving issues, concerns, and complaints pertaining to security during events
  • Research and analyze event information to provide staffing recommendations and estimates prior to events
  • Make immediate decisions and communicate with security staff in emergency situations
  •  Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of security experience at a professional sports venue, or within the military, or within local, state or national law enforcement
  • Experience managing other security professionals
  • Experience designing training programs and maintaining a high level of security through proper training and mentoring of security staff
