This is a part-time position in the Box Office.  Hours are dependent on the events schedule and are primarily available during evenings and weekends.  Job responsibilities include information distribution, computerized ticket sales, answering the phone and the balancing of all monies received from ticket sales at the end of each shift.

  • Handles all aspects of taking and processing incoming ticket sale orders.
  • Accurately dispenses tickets as requested by patrons; accepts payments and makes change accurately. 
  • Completes daily ticket sales reports and keeps an accurate daily balance sheet of cash received and tickets sold. 
  • Balances sales and change bank, and submits cash to Box Office supervisor or manager for audit. 
  • Handles Will-Call window according to procedures and event requirements.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills; responds promptly to customer requests for service and assistance.
  • Able to work independently and handle most box office questions without assistance.
  • Efficiently and courteously answers questions concerning prices, seating and events. Gives information concerning coming attractions. 
  • Performs related clerical work as assigned.
  • Performs additional duties as required, to include all duties as assigned.

  • Proficient computers skills
  • Good customer service skills and sense of public relations. 
  • Experience with handling cash and credit card transactions. Ability to make change accurately.
  • Ability to input data into a computer to record sales transactions. 
  • Strong communications skills with particular attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle all customer concerns, questions and comments in a timely manner.
  • Good problem-solving skills and organizational ability.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of the team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
