OVG Facilities has an exciting opening for an Assistant Box Office Manager for the new Enmarket Arena and Johnny Mercer Theater. The Enmarket Arena boats a 9,500-seat arena with luxury suites, club seating, and first-rate food and beverage. The Enmarket Arena will bolster entertainment in Southeast by hosting must-see national touring concerts, family shows, comedians, and more. The venue is also set to expand sports in the region by introducing a tenant ECHL hockey team along with presenting professional, collegiate and amateur sporting events.

Overview

The Assistant Box Office Manager will report to the Director of Ticketing and will be responsible for assisting the Director of Ticketing & Box Office Manager with day-to-day operations of the box office. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have a strong service background and proven experience in ticket operations. Skills include staff management & scheduling, customer service and experience with Ticketmaster products including Host, Archtics and TM One. Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service to clients, guests, and internal team members
Manage Box Office team including hiring, scheduling, and training part-time staff as to proper selling procedures and ensuring high service standards are met.
Assist in the creation and management of Enmarket Arena and Johnny Mercer Theatre Events.
Ability to be Box Office Lead for Enmarket Arena and Johnny Mercer Theatre events including creation, management, event day operations and settlement.
Assist with reporting needs, processing ticket request fulfillment & distribution etc. and ensuring the proper use of ticketing system
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including irregular hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended number of consecutive days as needed
Assist with completing and distributing accurate daily reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required
1-2 years experience in box office/ticket operations and with Ticketmaster products including Host, Archtics, and TM One preferred
Experience building & monitoring events in Ticketmaster desired
Experience with premium seating a plus
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Occasional travel may be required
