Overview

The Premium Suite Runner assists the Suite Attendants & supports with any other tasks around the Suites and Club area. The Suite Runner is primarily responsible for preparing and stocking the Pantry with the appropriate product, utensils & supplies. They assist in the set up and execution of preordered food and beverage items as well as delivery of restaurant orders during the event. Following the event, the Runner will ensure the Pantry is cleaned and restocked. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be able to work events as scheduled per business need.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $11.00-$13.00 and is tip eligible

Responsibilities

  • Prepares the suite & premium Pantry.
  • Responsible for keeping the restaurant/catering work areas and equipment clean.
  • Assists the Suite Attendants and Servers.
  • Responsible for setting tables and reservations.
  • Assists serving staff in delivering orders to guests' tables and suites.
  • Responsible for keeping the suite work areas and equipment clean.
  • Responsible for assisting in the setup of the Suites and Restaurant.
  • Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
  • Additional duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or OVG management staff for the successful outcome of an event or customer service situation.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
  • Previous experience as a Runner a plus.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit based upon your age.
  • All alcohol servers must provide proof of completion of state-approved alcohol server training and valid alcohol server certification upon hire, or complete such training from an approved provider within 30 days of employment.
