Nestled in the heart of Miami Beach, the state-of-the-art convention center offers flexible special event and exhibition spaces near beautiful beaches, fine dining and 5-star resorts. This position is responsible for performing janitorial, housekeeping and set up tasks as directed by the Event Operations Manager and/or Event Services Supervisor.

While performing the responsibilities of the Utility Worker, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is constantly required to exert various types of physical exertion, such as prolonged reaching, bending, kneeling, and lifting. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

The Utility Worker works in indoor and outdoor work settings with mild to adverse exposure to environmental hazards. The incumbent must be able to climb stairs and ladders and walk long distances to access all areas of the facility. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to loud. Incumbents in this position work in varying settings and will be subject to noise and atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odor, dust, etc.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Must have flexible available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed based on teh schedule demands and business needs.
