Overview

The Custodial Services Worker cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction after basketball and volleyball games, concerts, and other special events  

Responsibilities

• • Properly cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment
  • Cleans assigned areas to client standards and requirements
  • Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
  • Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
  • Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
  • Ensures security of company assets
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

  Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as this position is mostly scheduled after the event
  • Ability to work a varied and flexible work schedule
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to perform various physical tasks
  • Ability to operate small equipment and housekeeping equipment with the proper training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel and bend for long periods of time.
• Lift 50 pounds and traverse stairs.
• Working knowledge of housekeeping equipment
• Ability to effectively communicate and solve problems quickly.
