Description

OVG Facilities is looking for customer-focused individuals to join our box office event staff for the new Enmarket Arena opening in January 2022 and the Johnny Mercer Theatre at the Savannah Civic Center. The Enmarket Arena will boast a 9,500-seat arena with luxury suites, club seating, and first-rate food and beverage. The Enmarket Arena will bolster entertainment in Southeast by hosting must-see national touring concerts, family shows, comedians, and more.

Overview

The Box Office Seller will be responsible for assisting the Director of Ticketing, Box Office Manager & Box Office Coordinator with ticket operations of the box office including ticket sales, will call and answering questions related to events. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have a strong service & sales background. Basic knowledge of computer systems with the ability to learn Ticketmaster products including Host, Archtics and TM One. This role is supported by and will work closely with the box office team.

Responsibilities

Serve as forefront of customer experience during events in the box office and provide exceptional service to guests & patrons
Balance daily sales including credit cards & cash
Learn Ticketmaster products including Host, Archtics and TM One
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including irregular hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended number of consecutive days as needed
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in customer service, sales, and cash handling
Experience with events, guest relations and/or box office desired
Must be adaptable and patient with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Demonstrated ability in communication, problem solving, and customer service
Basic math & accounting skills
Proficient knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software and the ability to learn Ticketmaster products
