Summary:  The Lead Catering Supervisor (Part-Time) is responsible for assisting the Catering Manager manage overall suites and catering activity, oversee stadium club operations, and will provide management assistance to the General Manager. The Lead Catering Supervisor will actively supervise, coach, direct, train and mentor employees in meeting company quality standards, and will promote a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment. The Lead Catering Supervisor (Part-Time) enforces all Spectra personnel and operating policies and procedures.

Job Duties:
-RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSISTING THE CATERING MANAGER, EXECUTIVE CHEF AND GENERAL MANAGER IN THE OVERALL EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF CATERING OPERATIONS, ALL SUITE SERVICE, AND CASH ROOM OPERATIONS.
-SUPERVISION OF SUITE LEVEL SERVICES TO ENSURE A HIGH LEVEL OF SUITE HOLDER SATISFACTION IN ALL PERTINENT AREAS
-ENSURES TOTAL COMPLIANCE WITH ALL ALCOHOL SERVICE POLICIES. MONITORS ALCOHOL SERVICE THROUGHOUT EVENT TO ASSURE 100% COMPLIANCE WITH ALCOHOL SERVICE POLICIES. REPORTS ANY ALCOHOL SERVICE OR COMPLIANCE -ISSUES TO SPECTRA MANAGEMENT IMMEDIATELY.
-ASSISTS IN TROUBLESHOOTING TECHNICAL PROBLEMS WITH POINT OF SALE SYSTEMS, FROM BOTH A HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE PERSPECTIVE.
-GENERATES EVENT EMPLOYEE SCHEDULES AND VERIFIES EMPLOYEE TIME FOR THE SUITES, CLUB AND CASH ROOM DEPARTMENT AS REQUIRED.
-RESPONSIBLE FOR INVENTORY CONTROL IN CLUB AND SUITES UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE CATERING MANAGER.
-ASSIST IN THE MANAGEMENT OF CATERED EVENTS FROM SET-UP TO TEAR DOWN, INCLUDING HANDLING ALL COMMUNICATION WITH HOURLY STAFF AND CULINARY STAFF. RESPONSIBLE FOR GUEST INTERACTION UNDER THE ADVISEMENT OF THE CATERING MANAGER.
-ENSURES STAFF IS BRIEFED ON EVENT REQUIREMENTS AND ASSIGNED TO A SPECIFIC AREA PRIOR TO EVENTS UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE CATERING MANAGER.
-ENFORCES ALL SPECTRA AND VENUE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AS THEY RELATE TO GUEST SATISFACTION, QUALITY STANDARDS, UNIFORM POLICY, CASH HANDLING, OPERATING PROCEDURES, AND QUALITY PRESENTATION.
-CONDUCTS A WALK-THROUGH OF SUITES AND PANTRY AREAS AFTER COMPLETION OF THE EVENT TO ENSURE ALL AREAS ARE CLEAN AND SECURE.
-ASSISTS IN VAULT OPENING, CLOSING AND BALANCING, AS NECESSARY. -PROVIDE GENERAL OFFICE / ADMINISTRATIVE / ACCOUNTING SUPPORT INCLUDING INPUT OF WEEKLY CASH AND SALES REPORTS, A/P AND A/R DATA ENTRY, EVENT REPORTING.
-PROVIDE GENERAL OFFICE AND CLERICAL SUPPORT: COPYING, FILING, CORRESPONDENCE, TELEPHONE INQUIRIES.
-HANDLE BASIC HUMAN RESOURCES FUNCTIONS: PERSONNEL FILE MAINTENANCE, ANSWER EMPLOYEE INQUIRIES REGARDING SCHEDULING
RELAY ANY ACCOUNTING, HR, EMPLOYEE RELATIONS, SAFETY, POLICY OR PROCEDURAL CONCERNS, AND ANY SITUATION THAT MAY RESULT IN DISCIPLINARY ACTION, TO THE CATERING MANAGER IN A TIMELY AND RESPONSIBLE MANNER.

Qualifications:
-Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, NFP volunteers, and business contacts in a courteous, professional and productive manner.
-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing, environment. Must work well under pressure of deadlines.
-Ability to interact with a diverse spectrum of individuals calmly, professionally, supportively.
-Valid Alcohol Service Permit if required by state and/or county of venue.
-Working knowledge of Point of Sale and timekeeping systems.
-Cash handling abilities; basic math skills including significant number manipulation.
-Ability and willingness to work a variable work schedule and extended hours (including holidays, evenings and weekends, as required), depending upon event and business requirements.
-Consistent and reliable attention to detail, accuracy and validity with the ability to coordinate various activities simultaneously.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to delegate tasks efficiently and develop staff to next level.
-Ability to adhere to highest standards of ethics, integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
-Ability to execute solid management decisions quickly and efficiently.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education and Experience:
-
High school graduate or equivalent, plus 1-2 years food management or supervisory experience
-Catering Management experience a plus.

Physical Demands:
-
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to move objects (files, boxes, product, trays).
