Facility Operations/Event Staff: Game Day/Event Staff
Job Summary: 
Under the direction of the Event Supervisor, the Event Staff provides the best possible customer satisfaction in accordance with company policies and procedures. Event Staff work is available year-round on an as-needed basis.  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards 
  • Be mentally engaged in the event through observation and report all problems or potential hazards to Supervisor 
  • Provide exceptional customer service to the client and all guests attending the event. This includes providing general information for the event venue and giving directions to local points of interest (parking, bathrooms, medical stations, vendor locations, restaurants, etc.) 
  • Understand the logistics of the various exclusive events, including its rules & regulations and responsibilities  
  • Working outside in various weather conditions, which could include extreme temperatures and inclement weather (i.e. hot, cold, rain, snow, sleet, etc.) 
  • Standing in one place for long periods of time while maintaining mental focus and presenting positive body language 
  • Comply with company dress code for events and arrive prior to the event start time ready and prepared to work 
  • Address and resolve complaints and make recommendations to maintain customer goodwill 
  • Properly handle all Company equipment, including radios, computer equipment, flashlight, uniforms, etc. 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required 
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Ability to perform job tasks in a professional manner in a customer service driven industry 
  • Attention to detail with a constant awareness of surroundings 
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written; reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language 
  • Adaptability – Responds effectively to changes in situation or information 
  • Ability to pass a background check  
Physical and Mental Demands: 
While performing the duties of this job, it is required to frequently sit, stand, walk, talk or hear. They are required to stand or walk for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours). On occasion, they may be required to climb and work in high places, stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. Position may also require work in confined spaces and exposure to different types of outdoor weather conditions.   
Must occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
