Assistant Box Office Manager

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with show builds and inventory management.
Work with show management and promoters to facilitate all ticketing requirements.
Event day management of box office including financial settlement of shows.
Working from home in response to "after hours" urgent event requests as part of "on call" monthly scheduling.
Compiling daily sales reports and accountability of monies.
Facilitate training of part-time ticket seller staff including implementation of evolving technologies and best practices.
Sell tickets as needed via Ticketmaster ticketing system.
Assist with the processing of suite and premium seating ticket orders as needed.
Build and maintain strong relationships with venue tenants, show promoters, and tour management.
Provide exceptional customer service to all guests within our facilities.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and occasional holidays a MUST.
All other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to handle cash, basic accounting, and prior ticket sales a MUST.
Excellent organizational and communications skills required.
Working knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Windows.
Ticketmaster HOST and ARCHTICS experience preferred, but not mandatory.
