The Wolstein Center at Cleveland State University plays host to a myriad of special events, including contemporary concerts by international recording artists, nationally acclaimed family shows, motorsports spectaculars, professional and amateur sporting events, trade shows and conventions, and a vast array of community and civic events.

A few of the many features and amenities include a computerized sound and lighting system, 13,610 theatre-style cushioned seats, a proscenium curtain system that will modify the spacious main arena for more intimate gatherings, star dressing rooms, 40,000 square feet of storage area, a 10,000 square foot conference center and annex area capable of hosting banquets and meetings, computerized energy conservation system, an auxiliary gymnasium, video scoreboards and amber message centers, and 9,000 parking spaces within a 4-block radius of the facility.

As part of the operations crew, the selected candidates will perform functions and activities necessary to run, maintain, and service the Wolstein Center facility and/or the events scheduled in the facility. Job duties include changing over the arena floor, concourse area, and any other assigned spaces. May perform light janitorial duties as needed. Works an intermittent schedule. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible and extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays in addition to normal business hours as needed based upon the events scheduled in the arena facility. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Position requires work inside and outside of the building.
