Ticket Sales and Services: Ticket Sales
Overview:
The Season Ticket Sales Manager’s primary focus is to be the main point of contact for all RGV Toros, HEB Park, RGV Vipers and Bert Ogden Arena full Season Ticket Holders by fulfilling all of their customer service needs and ensuring their annual renewal. The Season Ticket Sales Manager will work to establish solid relationships with all Season Ticket Holder accounts through outbound phone calls, in stadium and arena meetings, out of office visits and Season Ticket Holder events
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Maintain account base & complete required amount of personal touch points per season 
  • Build relationships through outbound call campaigns throughout the year 
  • Proactively set in-game, face to face appointments 
  • Provide superior and professional customer service to all Season Ticket Holders 
  • Perform game and event day responsibilities including, entertaining clients and fulfilling season ticket event commitments 
  • Prospect and qualify all potential sales opportunities in addition to the leads you are provided 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes home games, entertainment events, nights, weekends and holidays as assigned 
  • Attend weekly meetings and actively participate in training sessions 
  • Coordinate with other departments to organize and implement Season Ticket Holder events 
Meet or exceed weekly, monthly and yearly retention and new revenue goals
 
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises all Ticket Sales Account Executives
 
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university in sales or marketing or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in ticket sales preferred 
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus 


Skills and Abilities 
  • Follows instructions, respond to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan 
  • Exceptional organizational skills required. Must be able to oversee complex projects and schedules, maintain deadlines, work within budgets, with the ability to set priorities and manage several projects simultaneously required 
  • Highly organized, resourceful, detailed-oriented, quick learner and time management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required 
  • Must have the ability to manage in a fast-paced, diverse environment with focus on client and guest services, entrepreneurship and building & growing a strong business is essential 
  • Be comfortable making cold calls on the phone 
Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
 
Work Environment: 
  • Position will work in an office, arena and stadium environment. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment. 
  • Must be able to work outside at times during stadium events. 
  • Requires ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit (for long periods of time); use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
     
    Travel
    Occasional travel maybe expected in this role.
