Job Summary:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting for new business for AEG core events as well as servicing accounts. Venues of focus include, but are not limited to, L.A. LIVE, STAPLES Center, Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE, Club Nokia, GRAMMY Museum, StubHub Center, and Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14. Events of focus include, but are not limited to, Award shows (People’s Choice Awards, American Music Awards, ESPYs), Sporting events and teams (LA Kings, LA Galaxy, Championship Boxing), Family shows (Harlem Globetrotters, Disney on Ice) and Special Events (Nike 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, All-Star Chef Classic).

The Sales Representative is responsible for building relationships with corporate clients and community groups, with a main goal of generating revenue from group sales, event suite sales, season ticket sales and other ticket packages. The Sales Representative will be expected to graduate clients up the fan ladder from individual ticket buyers to group and package holders. Sales Representatives will also create partnerships with companies and organizations looking for opportunities to entertain clients, reward employees or utilize tickets for personal entertainment. Sales Representatives will support the management team in researching and developing new business initiatives.

The Sales Representative is responsible for telemarketing activities and new business generation (business to business appointments) throughout the year, as well as being required to work event nights, select ticket sales or public relations events, and other related programs throughout the year including evenings and weekends. Sales Representatives will be supplied with a limited number of business leads and are expected to develop new relationships with clients for all events. Sales Representatives are responsible for reaching sales goals provided by the management team for each event.

Essential Duties:

Direct phone sales to existing database and new leads for variety of events.
Outside sales including face-to-face appointments, networking events, etc.
Event/Game duties including sales booth opportunities and visiting clients.
Customer service and relationship building activities, including service calls and client entertainment events.
Developing sales plans, researching new lead opportunities and creating sales presentations.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year)
A minimum of 1 years of related work experience (direct sales or client account management in sports and entertainment
